We provide a smart solar home energy management platform that automates the solar system design process and integrates solar panels, energy storage systems (ESS), and inverters to optimize energy production, storage, and consumption in real time.

  • Address information: Region, city, street address, GPS address, landmark
  • Installation details: Appliance information, energy usage data, solar package preferences
  • Signature: Digital signature drawn on canvas when signing a solar package agreement
  • Communications: Any messages or correspondence you send to us

How We Use Your Information

4.1 To provide our services

  • • Create and manage your SUNX account
  • • Process and manage your solar installation requests
  • • Generate energy assessments based on your appliance usage
  • • Match you with suitable solar packages
  • • Generate and manage your solar package agreement (contract)
  • • Schedule and track your installation

4.2 To verify your identity

  • • Send OTP code to your phone number for login verification
  • • Verify your email address
  • • Use your Ghana Card number for contract purposes

4.3 To communicate with you

  • • Send notifications about your installation request status
  • • Send reminders about unsigned contracts
  • • Respond to your support inquiries

4.4 Legal and compliance

  • • Maintain records of signed contracts
  • • Comply with Ghanaian laws and regulations
  • • Protect against fraud and misuse

How We Store Your Information

6.1 Storage location

Data may be processed in data centers outside Ghana but within secure, reputable cloud infrastructure.

6.2 Retention period

  • • Your account is active
  • • Required to fulfill our contractual obligations
  • • Required by law or regulatory requirements
  • • Signed contracts are retained for a minimum of 7 years for legal compliance

6.3 Security measures

  • • One-time codes expire quickly and can't be reused
  • • You're automatically signed out after a period of inactivity
  • • All data sent to and from our servers is fully encrypted

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

7.1 Service providers

  • Linode: Cloud hosting and database infrastructure
  • Arkesel: SMS delivery for OTP verification codes
  • Brevo: Email delivery and notifications

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority in Ghana or any applicable jurisdiction.
